This review is entirely my opinion and jack to do with the goodly folks at planetofthevapes.co.uk
This product was purchased with my own money, and my view of it is entirely objective.
Device:- KTS Storm
Vendor:- Vapertrain.com
Price:- £34.99 - 10% discount
Comes with:- Nowt, tube only.
Introduction:-
Had my eye on this for a little while. The opportunity came up to buy it from one of my preferred vendors, so I took the plunge!
The device:-
This is a telescoping mod, which comfortably takes 18350 (with a tube removed) 18500 and 18650.
As you can imagine, despite the gold in the title, it is actually brass, which compliments the chrome really rather nicely, but also does make it a bit of a finger print magnet depending how you hold it.
It has a bottom side fire button with a locking ring to avoid pocket firing. The button itself works effortlessly, and so far has fired every time.
The device separates into 5 parts, which makes cleaning simple as you like, and the battery is inserted by removing the top (connection) end, as the button prevents you loading from the bottom.
Piccies!!:-
Next to the UDT in 18350 mode
Next to the UDT in 18350 mode, KTS and Sigelei Telescope in 18500
Vamo and UDT in 18350, KTS in 18650
And for contrast, KTS in 18650, next to the Tesla!
Conclusion:-
Cracking bit of kit!
Threading is silky. The device feels sturdy, but is light. The button is easy to press and can be used in a number of "fashions" and to me, it looks more expensive than it is.
If you are looking for a decent but affordable mechanical mod that you can use all day without fear of destroying a £100 plus bit of kit, you could do an awful lot worse.
whit77 I finally got round to it
