That blue is straight off the strength beyond strength album cover. Looka mental.

Attempting my first patina today, freaking a bit - mainly about taking sandpaper to a perfectly good mod and the clearcoat. All the stuff in the middle errrrr lol

Doing it on brass, any tips from the top, can find loads of copper info brass seems to be a little tougher to find.

Brass is very similar to be honest, its 60% copper so just give it a LOT longer to react, a brass patina can take up to 12 hours so just be patient and the colours WILL come.

Cheers dude, left it in for 3 hours after watching a video on a "tortured souls" patina - hang on is that one of yours. Making the Gav connection?? If so thanks big time.

Just done the 3 coat of clear and i've got some 2000 grit at the ready for tomorrow maybe - too soon?

I'd got no corks so used the bungs you get with syringes. Worked really well actually.

Again if thats your vid its bang on. The method was helpful but i think the attitude/message of crack on and don't faff about was most helpful.

Nope you're the eggy patina vid i think. I don't know - they were all helpful.

Its funny that, matt and myself do these videos to help others out with patinas. We both work together and have a little company together too. As long as your clearcoat is dry all the way through, go ahead with wet sanding any texture out before more clearing, or you may want to fire it in the oven and bake it shiny! Its your call

Do you do custom ones of these/where can I learn to do this myself?
