Right so I’m new to all of this and god knows it shows sometimes but my question is,
How long should a draw/puff/inhale/vape be so as not to burn coils and ruin batteries?
I’m using a Smok Rkiss with duel mesh coils at .197 ohm and 80w but my draws are usually 3-4+ seconds and the tank gets quite warm! Am I doing to much or should it be ok at those levels?

How long do you hold a shite in before shitting yourself........you get to know when to release:)

Too many variables to give an answer. Vaping is customisable so everyone's sweet spot is different. Personally I use the falcon king tanks with the single mesh coils. My puffs are around 2 seconds and that's ideal for me

I've noticed with my set up longer hits more then 3 seconds I get that horrible burnt taste

My draws tend to be about 2 seconds long, you will go through coils faster at about 4 seconds obviously, to reduce that I would wait a little longer between puffs to give the cotton longer to saturate. Try taking a shorter sharper puffs, if it's not for you you might be better off with a RTA so you can replace the cotton frequently.

*also if you are using the 2ml tfv8 mini you can get a bubble glass or extension kit for it to hold more juice, that in turn might lower the temperature a bit but probably not by a massive amount, only a few quid so worth a shot

Hi mate, can't see why it would worry the batteries as long as its all safe in the range of ohms, voltage etc. Chain vaping is more the killer than long draws. I take long drags/draws like yourself. Just as mentioned give some time between them. 20 seconds would see it thereabouts long enough to keep up with the wicking of the coil. Sometimes ill take a drag then another just say 5 or so seconds after the exhale but then I'll let it wait till I go again. There is no "exact" time but flavour should let you know. When you dont allow time to properly wick you get significant flavour drop on the following drags until you give it time to wick, when you do give it time the full flavour returns.
