I started with an ego, then an ego spinner with an evod, but as I need to check the resistance of the coils I'm making, I thought rather than buy a multimeter, a new battery might be a good idea.
It needs to; check the resistance of the coil, fit my evods (with adaper?) and preferably not look like something you'd find at Ann Summers!
I find the descriptions are often lacking on some websites, they seem to assume every shopper is an expert.

By new battery you mean a mod? For what you want to do you need a mod with ohms checker built in, the mvp2 covers this and a multitude of others tho most look like something out of ann summers lol, Ive kept my original siegeli for this reason doesnt get much of an outing anymore as I moved on to mech
Check the market place at top of page, any on there are good gals an boys and will answer your q's when you see something you like the look of

From what you are saying young sabre it appears to me that you're looking for a Mod not a new battery. Your eGo type devices at present have a self contained battery but a device used for checking the coil resistance is a VV/VW Mod. I.e. Variable Voltage/Variable Wattage. These are quite a bit larger than eGo devices and also require a separate charger and individual batteries. Basically these Mods are either tubular or box shaped. The cost can also vary from anything from £20 from the Orient or £150 plus from Europe. It all depends upon your budget.

Current fads deem the Vamo v25, or whatever the latest version is, as arguably the best value tubular VV/VW Mod and the MVP v2 as the favoured VV/VW box mod of today. If that's the route you wish to go down then ask away and someone will answer any further questions you may have.

Bugger, you beat me to it Grizzly. I knew that would happen but if you've gotta go...... Main thing the questions been answered but I have a feeling young sabre will have very many more in the coming days.

Here are pics of the MVP and the Vamo.

You went into more detail than me M8 and answered better, more questions the better a happy vaper makes us happy

Mmmm, thanks all.(always wondered what a mod was but daren't ask!) Much to think about there, and I do quite like the look of the MVP. My bank card is running away as I type...

If you want a newcomers verdict on the MVP Ask @Midnight, she's just got one and I'm sure she'll answer your questions. I've got an SVD VV / VW - it's telescopic so if you get both 18350 and 18650 batteries then you can run it short for going out or long if you need lots of vape time (I've been of work since Thurs morning and havent had to change my battery running an 18650). The only down side is it looks like a friggin lightsaber...:lol1:

It might be an idea if you make use of our Wiki where you can read through a myriad of things vaping. If you look at the top of each page, you will find it half hidden behind the searchbar. Also, to highlight it you need to slide your cursor almost to the E-Liquid icon as there's some kind of imbalance going on with it. I'm sure KMS will sort it one day soon.
