Hi All

I am looking for a new TC mod.

Currently i have a smok xpro m80 plus. I've had this for a while and it works ok but now it seems to be misfiring, Jumping ohms. So I thought its time for a new mod.
Currently I use DLI and MTL
I use Kanger subtank nano sub ohm occ 0.5 and occ 1.2
and i have a Aspire nautilus mini which I use for MTL

I have been looking on the lines of Smok R80 xcube 2. xcube Ultra... but i would like to get your guys input maybe other options

I am looking for a new mod with TC. I would prefer a USB charging one (but if not charging via usb advise why I shouldn't, i'm never leave it alone while charging)
I like how the xcube ultra shows the display on top as i usually monitor the ohm because I don't want it misfiring while i'm using it.
I am looking for something portable xcube ultra size looks ok. Currently have xpro m80 plus which is 85mm x 55mm x 25mm. Nothing too massive.

Over to you guys for suggestions.

p.s i might need new tanks suggestion for that as well... nothing that leaks would be nice lol

Some questions to narrow it down:

1. What is your budget, and are you willing to order from China?
2. Do you prefer a fixed internal battery or removable?
3. You said nothing massive, what about single 18650 mods?

I may be wrong, but I think you can't set wattage precisely in TC mode on the Xcubes (and all(?) SMOK mods), you choose soft/normal/hard etc. I hate this - it is particularly annoying for low airflow tanks (like your current tanks) that need to be set at lower wattage to prevent temperature overshooting in the first split second after firing. For these tanks you want to be able to adjust accurately in the 20-40W range to tune performance to your liking.

On a budget, I would point you to Joyetech. I think the VTC mini is still one of the best compact TC mods on the market. There is also now the VTwo, which has a bigger fixed internal battery.

There are lots of good options though - posting your budget and battery preferences will make narrowing down the options easier.

Hi

Budget of £100 for mod (yes i dont mind usually order from aliexpress)
I do perfer fixed internal battery over removeable. but the main thing I would like is charging via USB
Single would be fine

http://www.gearbest.com/temperature-control-mods/pp_227245.html?wid=1 DNA200 mod so arguably the best you can get on flash sale at moment, there are a few other DNA200 mods there for under £100 all of which seem to meet your requirements depending on the size of mod you want

https://www.ecigone.co.uk/mod-shop/HCigar-VT133-Evolv-DNA200 for uk site at great price!!

Have you had a look at the eleaf ipower? TC with SS/Ni/Ti, great small size, will go up to 80 watts, and a MASSIVE 5,000mah internal battery that charges just fine over USB. Plus it's only around £40, way below your budget of £100 so you can have plenty left over to maybe look at a new tank, perhaps the aspire cleito with SS coils for subohm and the Nautilus X for MTL? You should be able to pick up the mod and both tanks for about £85.

Vaporesso are doing some interesting TC mods now - could be worth a look.

Today is the most sophisticated TC Mod is dicodes no 6

dicodes no 6.jpg

The dicodes no 6 is an electronically controlled MOD to be used with various atomizers of different sizes and diameter. It is prepared to use one battery of size 26650, providing a much longer vaping time with one charging compared to standard 18650 batteries.

Mechanically the mod has a very ergonomic soft touch design and is equipped with three buttons on the slender long side for menu operations and firing, a big easy readable OLED display and a sophisticated construction of an adjustable center pin made of copper beryllium.

The body is manufactured inhigh quality anodised aluminum and offered in several colors. The head and bottom pieces are made of solid stainless steel.

Electrically, dicodes no 6 allows vaping with up to 60W and, beside 4 different operation modes, provides temperature controlled vaping with many different kinds of wire-materials ( , nickel, titan, stainless steel, and others).

By means of a separately purchasable charging holder, the battery can be charged inside the mod with up to 3A charging current.

Features:

- 5 to 60W with one Li-Ion battery 26650

- Adjustable battery discharge level (2.5-3V)
- Up to 12V output voltage
- Up to 20A output current
- Temperature controlled vaping mode with various wire-types
- Mechanical MOD mode (protected)
- 10 Power boost modes
- 10 Heater protection modes
- Atomizer resistance range 0.05 to 5 Ohms, total
- Atomizer resistance 0.15-2.4 Ohms (60W)
- Reverse battery protection
- Versatile menu structure
- Individual user preferences selection
- spring loaded center pin made of copper beryllium
- charging contact on the bottom (requires charge holder)
- 2 Years warranty

(Ł100 is not enough)

I have a dicodes dani v2 L (18650 tube mod) which is 2 years old now. The only disadvantage is the fixed positive center pin and the small size.
