Looking to buy a TC mod,

Any good ones that aren't £100s of pounds lol

I also don't want to buy something cheap and work for like a week!

cheers

What's your current set up? Are you looking to build your own coils or use premade? Are you after a single or dual battery set up?

my current set up is a istick 30w

im buying a smok tfv4 so I can use pre built and build you own. but need to get a temp control mod to run it with

For dual battery set ups, sigelei 150w tc is hard to beat as is the ipv 3li.the ipv 4 is pretty good but some have reported issues with temp control and with the general build quality. I have a smok x cube 2 which pairs perfectly with the tfv4 and is at the cheaper end of the scale but needs a lot of tinkering to get tc working well. All of the above have upgradable firmware. Not many single battery set ups will probably look right with the tfv4 tbh it's a beast of a tank. The ipv d2 and sigelei 75w seem to be the most highly recommended and I'm personally waiting for an ipv d2. Those are the recommendations for user replaceable battery mods. For built in batteries the evic vt or vtmini or istick 40w probably. Remember that you'll probably need an external charger for the dual battery mods as internal chargers seem to be a little hit and miss.

would you recommend any good sites to buy from? don't want to be waiting weeks and weeks on it. id be like a hen on a hot grill waiting on it! lol

Thanks gives me something to look into!

Gearbest and fast tech probably cheaper but may take a while to deliver unless they have stock in their EU warehouse. For quick delivery and good customer service I only ever use myepack as I've never been disappointed and their prices are very competitive for a UK store.

Ipv d2 is only slightly larger than an istick 30. I like mine, and they are a popular choice at the moment. I might get a second one as a TC backup.

I've been charging mine via the on board charging for a couple of weeks without any issues but today received a separate charger, so I can chug happily while a spare cell is charging.
