I'm having trouble creating a nice choc/orange combo.

I started with my usual guessimate test mix which was about 14% choc and 7% orange but the orange wasn't coming through so I bumped the orange to 9%, still no good.

I've made a tester which is 20% orange and nothing else and there's still not a lot of orange so maybe the flavouring is shit. It's an FA version. When I did my original research I wanted to get inawera garden orange but it wasn't in stock when I was doing the rounds and I'm not paying postage on a single concentrate.

For future reference, have you tried any good ones?

I'm surprised at Reading this.. I made a mix the other day:
Orange (FA) 8%
Absinthe (DV) 12%

The orange is the strongest of you two and it's a strong but smooth flavoursome mix..

Where did you get the orange from?

Strange, it was a local place, maybe they diluted it? The other concentrates I got from there seem fine although I haven't tried all of them.

Hmm.. It is strange. I know from experience that with a lot of flavours adding too much can have the opposite results than expected.. muting flavour.

It's a shame it isn't working really.. I've tried quite a few orange concentrates, including Inawera, Capella, FW and FA.. FA is my favourite.. It tastes just like a fresh orange juice and it's strong too [emoji53]

I'll send you some FA Orange to compare at the end of month if you like.. Then you'll know if it's the same (not diluted, possible bad batch, bad handling)

Thanks for the feedback, it sounds lovely! I'm really getting barely anything orangey from smelling this juice (or indeed the concentrate bottle, haven't trying vaping it yet. I was planning on doing a series of different ratios to find the sweet spot but there doesn't seem a lot of point at the moment.

Maybe it'll come around after a few days or something.

Inewara "Bitter Orange" along with "double chocolate" @ a 20% 50/50 mix into a ten ml bottle gives you a cracking chocy orange...I made a batch up last year as a tester and wolfed the lot of it within a couple of weeks...I'd mix up another batch but no bitter orange left, and litres of other stuff already mixed....even a few hundred mil's of manabush stuff to use before I get the cauldron out again....
