Loss of flavour

Hi,

I have a drag s with 0.3 coils and 70vg juice and I have bought the bigger 5ml pod because I was fed up filling up the 2ml pod every day.
Now I don't know if it's the pod or maybe the coil just went bad but the first 2-3 puffs are nice and good flavour but after that the flavour just disappears.
The 0.3 coil is rated between 32 and 40w.
I used to keep it around 35 36w.
If I increase it to 40w I get the burnt taste. If I decrease it to 30w there is no burnt taste but still no flavour.
I can't imagine the new bigger pod doing this so it must be the coil right?
It just feels like it doesn't suck the juice in fast enough and after the first 2-3 puffs it goes dry.
Should I get 0.2 coils or 0.6.
I just want the flavour to be constantly there.

Ive not got this kit so not tried the coils.
when you start a new coil do you fill up then go straight to 35w
coils need time to bed in so best start at half the wattage you intend to vape at and turn up a watt after a few fuffs. you wont get much cloud or flavour but the coil is still heating up and bedding the cotton in.
also are you taking short or long puffs and how often. the longer the quicker it will dry out the cotton and not give it time to soak up more juice.
lastly what juice you using and did it come with nic shots. i swear by not using the 100vg now they usually supply and buy a box of 70/30 shots to thin the juice a little.

Hi,
So the coil is the one I used in the 2ml pod since 4 days ago so not a new one.
I take short puffs when on higher wattage and longer ones on lower wattage. Not sure if it's the correct way but I think I read somewhere that you should wait for about 10 seconds between puffs.
I am using 70vg juice 0 nicotine.
Does higher vg give you more flavour or less?

sounds like your doing everything right.
if youve used the coil for 4 days then it just might be on the way out so losing flavour and then the burnt taste. it shouldnt make any difference which size pod it is in.
vg gives the clouds and pg gives the throat hit and flavour.

Thanks I thought it might be the coil just going bad.
If I use the same 70vg juice I use now but with a 0.6 coil instead of the 0.3 I use now, what difference will that make?
Or can I use 50/50 juice with the 0.3 or 0.6 coils or do I have to go up to 1 or 1.2 coils?
Worst thing it will happen is that it will leak right?

I used 50/50, 60/40 VG / Pg in mine, .3 ohm coil and vaped at 20 watts.

What kind of flavour are you vaping?

I am vaping peppermint most of the time but also bubblegum, apple and other fruits.

Those coils are always like that, get a good pack, then a bad pack. It just is what it is sadly.
