Made a mix in drops ..how do i work out the %

HI i made a straight base to just add drops of flavor and have a bit of a mess around
but im kinda a bit lost on what the % would be

i did 40 drops base and this

in flavor in drops of different flavors

is it just 2% of 40 or is there a sum

Total number of drops = 62

100÷62 = 1.61

Therefore 1 drop = 1.61%

40 x 1.61 = 64.4

The base is 64.4% of the final juice

2 drops in 40 is 5%
2 divided by 40 multiplied by 100
if you mean all those drops of flavour, ie 22 in 40; it would be 22 divided by 40 multiplied by 100 = 55%

on second thoughts 2 drops in 40 would be 2 divided by 42 multiplied by 100 because you are now at 42 drops = 4.76%
and as diche said 22 drops in 40 is 22 divided by 62 multiplied by 100 which = 35.4% flavour

Yeah, the percentages should mean you can make up whatever size of bottle you like. Most of the calculators will let you specify the percentage of each flavour you want to use. My favourite calculator is ejuicemeup which is a download for the PC.


All maths is really simple steps, it is remembering what they are and what order to do them in that is the tricky bit. If it makes you feel any better I am great at maths as long as I have a calculator, but if you take my calculator away I can add 2 + 2 and get 5 and not notice. The trickiest bit for me was working out the total number of drops in the mix

(I did it 3 times and I still wasn't certain lol)

Yea i should be OK i just wasn't sure about the math..
I've remade the mix now in percent..
When i get a chance to try it i hope it's as nice as the 'drops' mix
