To the people of potv,

Im looking to make a dual 18650 sx350 compact box mod, was gonna do it out with wood but instead of jumping in the deep end i think i will just try to find the ready made plastic cases.

can i get some advice from where do i start and where can i get all the things i need? stealth vapes have some good stuff but would like a lot more choices.

i have been looking at the step by step guides a couple of people have put up but they dont really go into a great load of detail, like i need a for dummies guide really.

cheers

Depressingly, for me not for you....stealthvape now offer the keystone battery holders that I spent a ridiculous amount of money on shipping to acquire. Id definately grab those, they are the creme de la creme of battery holders IMO.

As above, seedy and stealthvape are your best shout, and both are more than helpful if you need help!

The sx chip is pretty much foolproof as all the hard soldering is done for you, just connect up as shown on the diagram (seedys site has it up) and your good to go!

Fabricating cases is whats taking me the longest, but if your happy to go the simple route and buy something suitable good to go, most people just go the Hammond case route. There easy to find, and come in a very wide range of sizes. Id suggest wiring everything together to get your dimensions, depending on how your arranging everything...or just copy someone!

Don't put a £50 chip in a plastic case !!!

When you know the measurements for the box search for hammond boxes and get an aluminum one.

List of what you will need.

A drill.
Drill bits for the 510 connection and buttons.
A multitool to cut out the display window and usb port.
Soldering iron.
Solder.
510 connection.
Hot glue gun or epoxy glue.
Battery holder.
Firing button.
Up/down buttons ?

Don't forget patience Mat. We all (I'd expect) rushed our first mod. Be as precise and thorough as you can be. Ask lots of questions and we will do our best to help.
