MAKING JUICE.....for us new to mixing...

Hey guys,
Just an idea here, as some might know i am trying my hand at making my own juice (vanilla custard) got to wait til next week).... If you make your own can you tell us what you made and how you made it and how it tastes?... Also if theres a juice that you think a newbie has just GOT to make......and if it is'nt in the recipe thread maybe it could be added to it?.....thanks in advance ....joe.

Moved to mixology
i use Capella at around 15%. Sometimes I add 5% butterscotch and it's lush. Custard is the flavour that just keeps giving!

Yep know about the POTV recipe page.... Just does'nt really say how you mix on some of them, plus be good to see some reall good recommendation mixes ;-)

I have a very technical method. I measure out my nic and pg/vg, add some flavour and hope for the best! It works for me the real trick with DIY custard though is to give it time for steep. It takes a good few weeks for the best of the flavour to come through.

My own VC recipe after many different attemps

Capella VC 20% (PA vc is also ok to use)
PA French Vanilla Deluxe 6% adds a richer vanilla taste (this does contain acytel but imo its such a small amount its worth it, but that is jusy my opinion)
Sweetner 1%
Dulce De Leche 1%
Vanillan 1%
50/50
I know it seems a lot of flavouring as it 29% of total mix, but i have tried using less but it just mutes the flavour.

And as Purplefowler already said, leave it a minimum of 4 weeks before trying it.

I just make a 100ml batch every 4 weeks that way i have a production line going, and 8 week old VC is even better than 4 week old VC lol

Also i use ejuicemeup calculator, it will tell you the exact amounts to use, there loads of guides if you google it.

Also T-juice do a very good concentrate line, where you just have to add nic, pg and vg.

Red astaire is like red berries with a cool after taste.
Affro dizziak is like the old cough sweets with a menthol aftertaste.
Minty the toff is obvipusly minty toffee.
and i have read that Jack the Ripple is very good, similar to reaspberry ripple ice cream
