Well the Marquis clone turned up today, took about a week with the e packet option, not too shabby at all, so I thought I'd give my opinion of it, but don't expect an in depth expert review, I ain't that eloquent.
When I opened up the box, it had the RDA, four posts, two spare tops, which enable you to use your own drip tips, to sit nearly flush with the top cap, or slightly raised, the normal screwdriver, spare o-rings and screws, some silica and two coils, which were no good, as they were too small for the posts.
Upon opening the dripper, I was disappointed to see a normal screw on the top, but after looking in the spares, the proper one was in there, so I just swapped them over.
Rather impatiently, I didn't take much time, but whacked in two badly made coils, 6 wraps of 0.3mm, coming out at 0.9ohms, put in a fair bit of Muji cotton and soaked it with some Lew's Brew.
The build was relatively easy, although the small negative screws were annoying and you might struggle getting 0.4mm and above in there that easily. The top section would have been better if moved around a bit, making it easier to wrap the wire, maybe you can do this, I've not yet looked.
Anyway, whacked it on the IPV 2, set it at 20w and off I went. Pretty impressive in my opinion, delivering the flavour alright and plenty of vapour for me and if I build it again, with some decently made coils, I'm sure it'll improve even more. To fill it up couldn't be easier, just take off the drip tip and off you go, simple.
Overall, for the £10.25 that it cost me, I'm pretty impressed with it and will highly recommend giving it a go. It's not a sturdy beast, like my Magma clone and feels about half the weight, but I'd say the flavour is nearly as good after half an hour vaping with it, but I'll have to use it a bit more to decide properly.
I'm sure some others will be able to give a better review, with pictures (my crappy old phone camera isn't up to it),
