Well I have been toying with this idea for a while now and I have tried to do it myself but failed pretty spectacularly.
So I have to admit defeat and ask this...
Is there any that are out there to just buy?
Or if not does anyone know any Modders that take on commission work?

I know it's tragically late, but, here's a 2×18650 series mechanical squonker made out of bamboo.
It's by a company named 'Affordable Mods' and by all accounts I've seen, at £95 it's not only one of a miniscule amount of series mech squonkers available out there, but it's also one of the cheapest:

The only series Squonker mod i can think of is the Driptech DS and TS dual series and triple series mods.

These are parallel mechs, not series unfortunately.
