Right, ive just rebuilt a kanger protank head (wooo!) And as wicking material I used some sterile medical gauze as it is the only thing I have to hand at the minute.

I've had a few puffs on it and it does the job, not great but good enough for now. Amybody else used it or know of any reasons why I shouldn't?

It may be sterile but does it have any added ingredients? often medical dressing type materials have added antibacterial or preservative agents.

You can buy perfectly acceptable cotton wool roll from tescos in the baby aisle - its about 80pence and the roll should last you for a year or more I used it for months and only switched to the Muji cotton as it is slightly easier to work with and seems to wick marginally better but I dont think I'll buy it again once this pack runs out unless I can really notice a serious difference - which I havent so far...

Tbh im not 100% sure. I haven't noticed any odd taste, and as it came in a pack with other bits and pieces I'm having difficulty finding specific info.

Just found some cotton wool balls so will probably just give them a go to be on the safe side
