Metal taste on some tanks

Is it me or do some tanks give a metal taste ? Is it the drip tips or just the tanks ?

Machine oil. They need a good clean before you use them.

I used to get a metal taste on my cheap metal tank from China I always thought it was the drip tip, so I ditched the tank in the end oops

I find this with Mini protanks and Evod2s.
I'm guessing it's the drip tip with mine because they've all had multiple refills and washes and it doesn't happen with the plastic drip-tipped Evods.

i find the metal drip tips sometimes give a mettalic taste try wooden ones from alba vapours
