So I went out and got myself some new gear today and found a new shop in the area - tjs-ecigarettes-kent. This is a very good place, people in there seem to know their stuff and even offer to match the price of any other gear sold by other vape shops in the area + a 5% discount. The place has a dedicated coffe/tea+vape area upstairs (I haven't been there though). So yeah, if you're in the Maidstone area - pop in and have a look, I think you will be pleased. They also sell wire, juice, wicks, mods, mechs, batteries and pretty much everything that I would need for DIY. I can imagine coming to this place again and again as it just so happens to be that I am moving places and will live literally less than 300 meters away from it.

Smok X Cube II - despite being reassured by other people and apes, I found that the button, personally for me, is absolutely horrible. I cannot comprehend using this mod at all simply because the design of the button and the sliding door - it started sliding open as soon as I held it in my hand. This was a deal killer for an otherwise very nice mod.

Snow Wolf 200 - I was close to buying this online, or even buying from another ape (it was sold before I managed to bid, and i'm happy i didn't). One thing that killed the deal on this was the slippery surface of the mod, it is a fingerprint magnet. Another pretty important thing for me, perhaps even more of a deal killer - it is a bit too wide for my liking, I didn't find it comfortable to hold. Surely I could get used to it, but then I tried something else...

Sigelei 150 TC - I went in just wanting to try it out and see how it is, as soon as I held it in my hand I pretty much had my mind set on it. It feels incredibly comfortable in any of my hands, as if it was tailor made personally for me. The surface has a nice matte finish and it doesn't feel slippery at all - a big plus for me because I get sweaty hands quite a lot. On top of all that, the battery door is great - it will not open or slide out unless that is what I want it to do, simply awesome. Couple of cons, and these are minor compared to the massive disappointment with the other mods: the case (oh yeah, it comes with a rubber case) - when I put it on, it makes the buttons stand out a bit less so I find it not as nice to use, but this really doesn't matter since there is no need for the case (battery door is good) and the matte finish means that the mod won't slip in my hand. This is by far the best mod I had, even beating the iStick which I loved but unfortunately broke. I also like the interface, i popped in my batteries into it and was able to set it to regular power mode from TC straight away without needing to read the manual. The only issue I have with the interface so far is that it takes a while to turn the wattage up or down, not like I care anyway.

I purchased an Efest LUC 4 charger and some additional batteries - Efest IMR 18650 2500mAh. This pair will rotate with a pair of Samsun VTC 4 2500mAh. Quick question on the charger: the instruction manual does not state explicitly that I can use the 2.0 Amp charging mode for 18650 batteries, neither does it say anything against it. I know it is better for the battery life to charge it at 0.5, charging at 1.0 amp is okay too. But is it ok t ocharge 18650 batts at 2.0 amps?

And it gets better: I smelled Red Astaire in the air, this is one of my favourite juices for non sub ohm simply because I can taste it (severe case of long term vaper's tongue). I asked them and they didn't have RA in stock. It got far better: they sold "Black Astaire" a.k.a. The Black by Zeus Juice - a modified version of RA, tailored for sub ohming. I dripped in on my El Velocity (El Cab cap on Velocity base since Velocity cap can't have one hole closed off) using a nice fused clapton. It blew my mind. Without a doubt, this is the best juice I've ever used on the best ever build I've ever used. I purchased another bottle of juice - an anise-heavy flavour + mintly menthol kid of mix by Zeus Juice and could actually taste that too. Went into a different vape shop at a later point and picked up some of their mix, and guess what - I can taste this one too.

Thank to cloudcuckoo I can no longer go outside without my dripper anymore. I already said that your coils are the best, but it will become ever more ridiculous once I fit in the second 5 wrap fused clapton. And then there's the 7 wrap ones, which i haven't even tried yet.

Also thanks to everyone who commented in my other thread about mods, it really helped me to narrow down my search for the perfect mod and now I found it.

TLDR: today was a good day.

Edit: I'm gonna make a short list of cons for the Sig, whenever i find them.

1. The interface. More info once I mess around with it extensively. 6/10.
Update: I've messed around with it a bit more, kinda got used to the wattage change delay. The UI isn't as bad as I thought, i've kinda grown to like it so giving it an updates score of 8/10
2. The Ridge. There is a kinds of a ridge/row going around the front of the device - you will see it if you look at a pic of the front of the mod. It creates some kind of illusion that the mod is in a case of some type, quite a nice looking little thing. The problem is, when juice spits or leaks out of a dripper - it goes in there and it is hard to simply wipe it.
3. Need to hold the up or down button for a second before it starts scrolling.
4. The dirt from my sweaty hands. I get very sweaty hands, it leaves a wet look on the mod. But with the Sig it is much easier to wipe it off simply because it is matte finish.
5. If you get carried away and the Sig ends up being dirty, it is a pain in the butt to clean it. because of the matte finish.
6. I've chain vaped at 70 watts for a while, it did get kinda warm. That being said i feel like this is mainly due to the TFV4 that was fitted on it because the TFV itself gets very hot. When using with a dripper at 60W, vapign quite a lot, it only gets a bit warm (within acceptable range).

Like i already mentioned, these are just teeny tiny cons, and completely pale in comparison vs. cons on other devices i had. For all i care, these aren't even cons. But it might matter to someone else so I will try to take it apart as much as i can. I won't go looking for these little cons, but i will post about it if i encounter one.
More info later...

Glad you had a good day!

Shame your taste in juice is appalling!! :p

I dunno why it is like that, but i just like those type of juices. I just can't taste other juices, but things with anise seem to work nicely.

Don't really like menthol either, it is too overpowering and just feels cold, but i like the amounts they use in the likes of Red Astaire - it is just the right amount for me.
