Mint flavour

Hey all

Been mixing and really enjoying it, just made my second batch this evening. Mine have been going good so far, have already polished off one 10ml bottle of blueberry vanilla, but the Mrs likes mint.

So far I've made 3 10ml's of mint and 2 have been awful, one made tonight not tried yet but one of the others tasted like a burnt coil and made my mouth almost faintly numbish / fuzzy.

So, does anyone know of a good mint concentrate that's meant to be a main flavour? Most of the recipes I've found have used mint in very small quantities as an addition. I only have peppermint from PA and it's like bloody aquafresh.

My main problem is I hate mint, but good on my Mrs, she had a go and mixed one of her own!

Jv247 do a lovely murry mint concentrate that's spot on.

Their mixed mint, is my current ADV.

Both @10%

PA spearmint & PA peppermint at 3% each (6% total) is a good double mint (Wrigley's)

Chefs also do a sweet mint, not a fan, and their Wrigley's, to me isnt what my brain imagines it to be.

What type of mint does your oh prefer? Menthol/wintergreen/spearmint/peppermint/XXX mints...

She thinks she likes all mint but I don't think she does. Definitely the softer flavours so no fisherman's friends for her lol..

Thanks a lot jaimunki that's very helpful, I think I'd give the murry mint and mixed mint a go (if I read right) but I can't find them on their website - at least not on my phone!

+1 for Kandi Hed Murray mints. I get through gallons of the stuff. Give Capella Dutch Choc mint a crack. My Mrs reckons its just like mint aero. Oh and avoid Capella spearmint. It's bloody awful.

Here is a recipe for buttermints I have to mix 100ml every month for the Mrs.
TFA Vanilla Custard 10%
Capella Butter 5%
TFA Peppermint 8%
