mixed and taste is a bit dense ?

i guys i have mixed a custard left it for few weeks and the flavor is fine but its seams dense on the exhale
mix was 50/50 any ideas why ?

I find with a custard mix usually a min of 4 weeks steep and as its a 50/50 ratio maybe 5 weeks, now i'm no expert but have made a few custards and mine are usually 4 weeks min.... I'm sure someone will be along to put us both right here ;-)
