Hello folks,

After a bit of advice on mixing methods, i havent been mixing long but i have found a couple ADVs and would like to start mixing up bigger batches.

Just mixed up a 100ml batch with 10ml syringes, absolute ball ache.

You guys have any better methods for mixing the larger batches? I have read something about mixing by weight, does anyone here mix by weight and is it easier/better than syringes?

Any advice would be great and tips on some kit, beakers, scales, calculators etc?

Thanks guys :)

I use a 50ml measuring cylinder, but sometimes I mix 500ml so it's a pain like you say, but there are ways.

Assuming the vessel you're mixing in is greater than 100ml, measure 100ml in a pyrex jug or whatever, pour it into your vessel and mark the water level. Now you only need to measure your nic and flavouring and top up to the line with VG.

I don't yet mix my own, but saw a great video on you tube where the lad just used "drug dealers electronic scales and literally poured his vg/pg/ flavour into the container and pressed "tare" after each one. He then used a small siringe for his nic. seemed an ideal way to do it. Sorry can't remember his name though.

Simply bigger syringes I use 50ml cheap off ebay but larger are available. instead of needles I use silicone tubing 3mm to get to the bottom of your bottles as the bigger syringes won't fit, half metre £2 again eBay.
For mixing your finished juice I use cheap plastic camping beakers from asda zap in micro for 10-20 secs till thin then mix with a milk frother and decant into my ampulla apothecary bottles once cooled.
Use ejuicemeup for calculations :D

I use a scaled 100ml measuring cup. I might be fractions out, but who cares, It takes 5 minutes.

I have just bought some scales but haven't used them yet, as I had a fair amount of juice to get through. If you search online for the weight of your ingredients per ml, you will see a lot of fellow vapers have done the work for you.

I use a whisky glass and also old jars for apple sauce or mint sauce, for mixing.

I have 50ml syringes for dispensing into bottles and a variety of smaller ones as needed.

I am another person that uses a 100ml measuring cup.
I mix my pg/vg in large bottles, enough for many months mixing.
I half fill my cup with pg/vg, measure in flavours and nic with syringe, then top up pg/vg to the 100ml line.
If you are settled on your flavour percentages you can even mix your flavour concentrates in advance , enough for several months mixing thus reducing the number of fine measures to be made.

Thanks for all the great advice Apes!

Will deffo take some of these tips onboard for my next mixing session :)
