Mixing my first DIY E-juice

Hey Apes,

I bought my first batch of 500ml of VG & PG and 100ml of 72mg Nicotine.
I havent bought any flavours yet because i dont what i want to make for my very first juice, at the moment i need something with not a lot of flavours as im quite low on money at the moment, i only want to start to buy small batches of flavours until i start to get a collection going on, same with VG, PG & Nicotine.
Ive got my scales sorted and calibrated.

What flavours do you recommend making first?
What flavours did you first make?

Also cant you just put, say for example Capella Custard V1 or V2 or whatever, mix that with what you need and there you go theres your Custard? I dont understand why people add like cream and stuff im there?
I understand if its something Banana Custard, but i'd only think of putting a Banana flavour and a Custard flavour, but then still people add other things haha.

If you awesome guys could just give some advice that will great.

Try one shots to start with buddy check out primevapes they have some of the dripworxs range as one shot concentrates. Also the mixshop do loads of custard one shots and also chefs flavours aswell

Ive heard of one shots from DarkStar Vapour, are they decent? Would good enough flavour to compare with TPA, FW, FA, Capella as ive heard they are the best ones to get, im just after a decent receipe to start with, because i dont want to make my first 100ml or so and for it taste horrible then i'll have to wait for more concentrates haha [emoji5]

Never used darkstars concentrates what to do is go on primevapes and grab a bottle double dunk and a bottle of fizz bomb the double dunk takes atleast 3 weeks for a proper steep but the fizz bomb is ready to go off after a shake and will do you until then they do a few other u may like aswell

Darkstar one shots are pretty decent actually.
Also , if you fancy a bit of lemon tart then Bigjuiceuk are doing 30% off of that one and it's gorgeous mixed at 13%

Another vote for Bigjuiceuk lemon tart here. Really nice & you won't have to mix any other flavours with it. When you start mixing though, make small samples first. That way you don't waste much if you don't like it.

So there are flavours you can just buy and not mix it with any other flavour and just vape it and it'll taste nice? Like just buy a Custard flavour mix it with your VG, PG & Nic and vape away? If so what flavour percent do you recommend for just one flavour? Or does it vary with different ones?

Percentages vary greatly but usually there is a recommended amount in the blurb on the different manufacturers websites.

One shot doesn't necessarily mean it won't need steeping though. Fruits are usually OK straight away but I've found better after some time in the cupboard. Custards and bacci's though still need a few weeks. One shot just means all the ingredients are already mixed unlike when you do it from scratch where you've used several different flavours for a recipe.
