Hi folks,

My wife has kindly made me a rather spiffy box mod.

It functions perfectly, so I don't want to blow it up!

I've just recoiled a mini nova, and it's coming out at 1 ohm.

Is this safe to use on a box mod that has no "protection" as such?

Tis literally just a protected 14500 with a couple of wires attached to a 510 connection.

Could this cause issues, as if so i shall simply not use the mini on it :D

I'm no going to say that you should, but I do. There is a chart on the wiki page showing safe voltage to resistance vaping. My coils are usually 1-1.3ohms.

come to think of it.... i have no quibble using 1ohm on mechanical mods..

for some reason i thought the principal may be different with a box mod... not sure why now :)

At a low ohm reading your draw a higher amp from the battery, just make sure you have good battery's like aw/ efest

fair do's. cheers :)

any inherent issues besides that though?

short battery life i can live with. fire and brimstone, not so much :D

'I told Vapemonkey1980 the coil should of been at least 1.2 ohms!'
