Right bought some Mom and pops RYO Tobacco concentrate a couple of months ago and was wondering how long they keep? As when I went to make a mix this evening it looked like it had a tiny spot of mould floating about in it! Not sure if it is and if it's possible. But don't really want to be inhaling mould.

Cheers Guys and Gals :)

Interesting. I went to mix up the same one a few days ago and there were 2 blobs of mould floating in it but I just though maybe the bottle had got contaminated. Anyone else had trouble?

I Know when I used it in my last 3 tobacco mix it looked really cloudy with like cloudy pieces in it but gave it a good shake and used it. Have shaken this time and the white blob is still there.

Have fired off a question on Mom and pops vapor shop and see what they say. Maybe you have to mix straight away. Who knows :hmm:

M&P do have sediment in many of their tobacco flavours due to the high amount of tobacco extract used in the process of producing the concentrates. You will also notice in some of their stronger tobacco concentrates cloudiness and a ring around the top of the juice level. This is natural and should not affect the quality or taste of the concentrate.

Hope this helps

Thanks leisureliquids, Yeah is cloudy but looks like a blob of mould. May try emptying the bottle and see, Don't really want to waste it as they are a good vape.

Right have emptied into an egg cup and taken a pic, Not sure if it's mould or not? Could just be a lump of tobacco. Can concentrate mould?

Thanks for posting the pic, better idea of what your talking about now. While as I said earlier, I would not be concerned about the cloudiness of the mix, I don't like the look of this at all. I was thinking small black tobacco sediment! Jimsie, could this be mixing contamination? I don't know how you mix, if you use the same needle/syringe etc for your pg/vg and concentrate? As far as I'm aware concentrate doesn't mould unless something alien is put in and that goes off

I Try and use different syringes/needles for the different ingredients but it may be cross contamination. but as a rule I always add the concentrate first. Have removed the offending article and will see what happens to the remaining 2ml. Have mixed 10ml to see what it's like. Was quite hard to the touch so don't know if it was just the tobacco reforming or something. Thanks for the advice Terry.

That photo is just like the stuff that was in my bottle too. None of the other flavours have done this or shown any signs of aging at all. It's just this one.

Got an email today from Mom and Pops, they say there is nothing to mould non there concentrates son it is either not mould or cross contamination on my part. will have to see how the rest of the concentrate develops.

Thanks for your time guys and gal :)

Just to update you, I got an email from M&P today after sending them your picture. They advise that this is tobacco extract sediment forming and is fine to continue to use. M&P Tobacco concentrates should be shaken rigerously and regularly to distribute the high content extract. There is no artificial tobacco or sugar in their concentrates and therefore there is nothing to "go off" and create mould.
