Quick mosfet question.

Do you tend to put a resistor between the switched feed and gate to pull it back open or do it want a resistor and diode?

Not sure what each pin on my mosfets are, but I put the resistor only between the two outside pins.

Cheers chegs. Hopefully that means source and gate. I need to do some studying I think.

The output on this thing is fucking silly lol

Mine only allows me 110A draw,by which time the atty has melted :P

It lives. Thats a 2.78ohm coil. It was fucking stupid on a 1.5ohm single coil lol

Lmao, I'm running 0.7 ohms at 8.4V and having to use 3/4 strands of 0.25 mm to stop it burning straight through. If I try using single strands, anything under 0.5mm just melts unless I've drowned it in juice first. Reason I try not to use thicker wire is the Zenith drip the tip gets so hot it's like sticking a poker in the fire until it glows, then trying to cool the end by using my lips. :D

Definitely a learning curve to it. I'm lookinh forward to playing, mechs are getting tedious. Very useful but tedious.

Here's a quick explanation.

Twenty wraps of .4mm kanthal on a 3mm screwdriver. I need a 30mm dripper lol

Vaughan was saying to try 4mm diameter coils with thicker wire. Its certainly something to consider, though this thing ramps up fast enough as is.
