Hello everyone I hope someone can help me, I have been vaping 6 months or so. I started with Evod, upgraded after the tops kept filling up with juice. I got a protank and a spinner battery vision. Now this battery has packed up and despite following advice on cleaning heads, burning the coils and changing the ohm to 1.8 the heads only give good performance for a day at most. I spend lots of time cleaning & rinsing etc and trying to get a decent vape.
What I am looking for is the most reliable Mod set up, I am not worried about the cost. My requirements are something that is reliable and lasts, ideally I would like something where the heads last for a week without cleaning then I probably will just replace them. I have two young babies and at the momment I am worried about the mess I make cleaning and fiddling about all the time.
I really just want something I can fill up vape and go. Is there a product like this available
thanks for any help
Paul

As a recent cotton convert I have to say it is the least faff. Just build a coil and stick a small twist of cotton wool in for the wick. When it is done you just take the wick out, burn off the coil and stick another but of wick in. With small children about, cotton wool shouldn't be a problem :) It's very economical, clean and easy. I use a kayfun lite (I believe the clones are just as good (and with the lack of leaking, possibly better).

if you dont want to go down the mech mod route then an MVP 2 or VTR would be ideal

as for the tank well a KFL or russian would be a good choice as they hold about 4-5ml of liquid. good for a day or 2's vaping. sure you have to build coil and wick initally ( or use the one thats already supplied ) but once its up and running a change of wick once a week and your good to go.. and using cotton wool wicks its only a 2 min job to carefully take out the old one, dry butn the coil and and then add a fresh wick.
otherwsie maybe a davide aspire tank or protank 2. on the mvp or vtr. nice and quick and should be better than the original protank

nemesis, decent carto tank and of course carts....total spend if new inc bats and charger £100 ish....ongoing costs...£2 a week in carts.

i dont honestly think it gets much simpler than that and is what i use after 15 months of vaping :)

carts are easy to fill and then drop into your tank, tanks are easy to fill up and your off :)

also looks the biz :)

I would go with the nemesis and the kayfun 3.1
£75 from vapegeek ( other vendors are available)
you will no be disappointed.
I run two with this set up. quality

+1 for nemesis and kayfun. i have a SS/GOLD Hcigar Nem and a real KFL with snake oil for my at home posh vape. and a normal SS Nemesis and KFL clone for my out and about and work vape. its all you'll ever need. couple of nems and couple of kayfuns

Thanks Guys, is is the protank 2 I have and cannot get on with. I know this may seem silly but I wonder if you could clarify for me the set up and maintenance of the nemisis kayfun set up.
This is what I gather
The Nemisis is the battery, I connect that to the kayfun which is the atomiser and holds the liquid.
with the kayfun I have to make the wick/connection coill with wire and fibre.
Jester sorry to be foolish but does cart stand for the wire wick connection part?
thanks
paul

the kayfun you generally use kanthal wire and make a coil ( or micro coil, gnerally 4-10 wraps dpeending on your prefeence ) then you can use either silica or as alot prefer cotton wool ( unbleached organic cotton wool balls from your local chemists or supermarket )

as for nemsis ( or chi you or any other mech mod ) its basically a battery tube with a connection on the top. you need to get a specialist battery for them ( rather than your bog standard AA type ) such as an 18350 or 18650 from the likes of AW or efest or torchy ( you'll need a couple of batteries, one to be on charge while one is in use ) plus a decent specialized charger for them ( nitecore are one good make there are others).

I would still consider the MVP 2 as the ideal step up from an ego or evod style battery if you dont want to go full mechanical.

it has a 2600mah battery so will last good couple of days before needing to be charged ( via USB port ) and has options to adjust wattage and voltage, built in ohms meter , puff counter etc ) .
the only downside is when its on charge you'll need a backup device ( even if its an evod or similar to vape on . you could charge overnight but like anything electrical its unwise to leave charging unattended ) .
