Nautilus 0.7 mesh coil mutes sweetness?

Hi fellow vapers!

Just introduced myself on another thread, already here with a small question:

Since yesterday I've gotten myself a Nautilus GT (kit). A huge step up in tasting layered flavours versus my Hellvape Grimm AIO.

However, with the 0.7 mesh coil (pre-installed) i fee with the flavours - while being more pronounced- the sweetness is almost completely gone/muted.

I almost exclusively vape vanilla/caramel/custard/cookie flavours

Is anyone else facing this problem or is this just me?

Would some of you recommend different coils that bring the sweetness more to the surface?

I'm vaping "le caramel" by le petit vapoteur, 12mg 60pg/40vg by the way.
Coil properly primed, vaping away at 22 watt (as suggested 20w-25w) and this is the second fill, so break-in should have happened already I think?

Thanks in advance!

It's funny you mention this because I only just noticed this was a thing for the first time the other day.

I was reviewing the Fireluke 22 MTL tank here.

My liquids taste crazy sweet in it. ..... almost to the point where I'm not enjoying them.

For me it's a downside, I prefer the less sweet taste from the Nautilus GT mini I have. But if you want the sweetness I would recommend that tank.

I've not really used Nautilus coils for a while but the one I liked the most was the 1.8 ohm NS/ AIO coil. Has larger wick holes and seems to provide more flavour. Might work for you. Although I do also agree with Simon about the Fireluke 22 coils.

I've been using the 0.7ohm coils but running them around the 15W mark. You may get better flavour by backing off on the wattage. Give it a try it may work for you.

But if you want the sweetness I would recommend that tank.

I will check it out, but having just bought the nauti i feel like there's a sweetspot to be found with it.

Might work for you.

I will also check that out! Now running the 1.6 coil and it gives a much smoother vape and the sweetness does accompany the flavours more. The 1.8 coil having bigger wicking, it should be even better so i will definitely try them!

I had tried that (don't know if you're using the mesh ones) but to me the flavour was completely gone. The 1.6 is giving me more of what i like so i'll run with that for now and give it a shot with the NS coils too

Using the Nautilus AIO 1.2 coils in my Billet Box and finding them great, I was using a Aspire Nautilus AIO with the same coils but Vape and Flavour are better in the BB, Running @ 12-14 watts and it has to be my Favourite MTL vape.

Yeah the 1.8 ohm coils are the ones most people (inc.me) prefer. They do give the best flavour. I thought I'd give the 0.7 ohm mesh coils a go but your right, the higher ohm coils produce better flavour overall.

Yeah sounds like those should be the ones to go for and the regular 0.7's (as i've read a few time that they accentuate the sweetness more, which i like). I'll pick up a pack of both, if it doesn't satisfy i'll go down the rta rabbithole.

I find the basic .7 coils the best,I never go above 20w though.

I'm using one of those right now, a million miles ahead of the mesh's and the 1.6's imo.
With a sweet custard, I finally have a vape that tastes like the liquid smells!
