Nautilus GT tank - No atomizer

Hi, I have a couple of GT tanks (Just the tanks without the Glint mod) and it seems like the 510 connection on the bottom is too short to fit any mod I have. I keep getting no atomizer errors after trying at least 6 different mods. Does anyone know if this is common for this tank and what, if anything I can do. Thanks.

I don't know the tank at all but used to get this a lot with the nautilus 2. I'd fix it by unscrewing the screw in the 510 pin a little. Helped with the connection to the mod.

With stock coil tanks sometimes the positive connector on the bottom of the coil doesn't connect properly with the floating 510 connection on the bottom of the tank.

I'm not familiar with your tank - if it is a screw in coil, make sure the coil is screwed in firmly (if it isn't completely screwed in there may be a gap between the bottom of the coil and the internal 510 connector). Make sure the internal 510 connector is clean and clear of any baked on juice deposits - also clean the external 510 connection on the tank and the 510 on the mod..

Finally - make sure the 510s in your mods aren't stuck at the bottom of their travel, they should bounce back if you depress them with a screwdriver - make sure you switch off the mod or remove the batteries before you do this. It is unlikely to be the mod at fault as you have tried several - but it's worth checking if all else fails.

Good luck

Hello @Grintch and welcome to the forum.

I have noticed this as well, the length of the 510 connectors at the bottom of tanks and the depth of the hole in mods don't seem to be absolutely consistent. So some tanks stand proud of the mod and some tank connectors don't go down far enough to reach the mod contact. I haven't got the GT tank so cannot comment on it.

I can think of two suggestions: Have you tried with an Aspire mod? After all, they should match their own tanks. Otherwise try with a mod that has a springy 510 connector and make sure the contact is free to spring upwards, as Crispycritters comments.

Hi and welcome. Can't add any more to what has already been said.

Might sound obvious but don’t think it’s been mentioned, have you tried a fresh coil, you could have a dud.
