I received these free of charge from FDV in lieu of services I performed in the development of a ceramic coil project he was/is working on. They were not supplied for review but the result was so stunning I feel I have to share the love, the fact that they constituted payment in kind has in no way impacted upon my review of them, I have sought to be as open and honest about the upgrade kit as possible. POTV are not responsible for this review and this is the most serious disclaimer I have ever written so I'm going to add the word titwank.
Full review here (but not for much longer as I'm developing a special website)
Being young sucked balls. Uncertainty, rejection, not fully understanding the rules and latching onto whatever was the newest thing in case people thought you were uncool. Constantly living in fear that everyone else knew more, did more and all the house parties you didn’t go to were awesome whereas all the ones you went to had three girls looking miserable dancing to some dirge and there was only three tins of lager.
That is what I think of vaping. Someone, somewhere is having a better vape than you. Someone, somewhere has got a better coil than you.
Magnets, as I covered in a previous review, are available in the UK at a VERY reasonable cost. As can be seen from the following picture, they differ in thickness – but they also differ in strength and durability. As with all things, you get what you pay for. The FDV magnets will appeal mainly to those who don’t suffer the shipping charges to Europe especially as they are a snug fit and using just the two allows you to rest your Nemesis (as I am doing now) without faffing about with the lock ring.
The thickness of the magnets also has a benefit that the little rice grain that holds the switch from rotating is firmly kept in place. I often found that when using the stock springs the one holding the grain would slip down and the switch mechanism would need to be dismantled in order to sort it out. You get none of this with the FDV version, it does still occur if you use two GM magnets.
The Nemesis clones have received fame for being able to punch their weight alongside the real deal. I’ve not had a real Nemesis, I can’t compare, but I do know that they aren’t all that when compared to the Biomech Gen.2, the Panzer, the Pisces-T or the Colossus in my collection.
Measured voltage drop on both the brass Nemesis clone and the copper Nemesis clone using these pins shifted them up the ranking to equal the floor-punch of the Biomech Gen.2.
The pins also mean that you can leave the beauty ring on.

**** Dennis has said that if a vendor or a group buy wish to get in touch for any of the items he is stocking he will offer a much more attractive deal. A group buy would have to consist of a minimum of thirty units - so that's 30 people ordering a set or 15 people with two Nems ordering two sets.
