New build on the Vapetech Omega

Single wire 6 wraps of triple twisted 28g Kanthal, came out at 0.4 Ohms and plenty of flavour and vapour. Had to wrap both coils on the atty and it was a right ball ache, I'm looking forward to getting the trident v2 in the next couple of days so I can try some thicker wire as trapping the wire under the screw heads is a PITA.

Performance video just cos im bored.



getting massive flavour off this build, new levels of flavour with the same juice i was running in the same atty at .8ohms earlier today and its brought more creaminess to the custard flavour.
KulrMeStoopid - it just takes practice, and being a bit forceful with the wire, this is the first time ive successfully used a single strand dual coil on this atty, its probably not one im going to replicate(on this atty) as it took me about 45 mins to do it from unbuilt to vaping. the lack of holes in the posts and small screw heads were awful to work with.

I'm tempted to try again to build some new coils for my dripper but with thicker wire. I can't try to trap the wires under the screws as it has allen headed screws, I know the wires won't fit through the post holes as 0.3mm wire is a sodding pita to get through. I'd try on the W3 but that dribbles juice all over my shirt, mech and fingers. The more I consider it, the less I like the idea. Lol

Dare I say it...... Don't know how you feel about clones but the ehpro version 2 has post holes and larger headed screws

I don't mind clones, all I own are clones lol, I've see it on grey Haze and was thinking of buying one

As far as I know the hcigar omega clone is the only clone where the air holes are drilled in the right place, like next to thw the coils

on the vapetech they arent in a bad location, as you can see from my first picture they are right in front of the coils, they would possibly benefit from being maybe 2-3mm closer though
