New here, clearly.

Approaching my 3rd week fag free. Bought a My Von Erl to trial whether I could even last a few days, which I did. Now using t
a Totally Wicked Arc 4 with the tank that came with it, along with the included atomiser.

Made the first error of buying juice too strong so now on 1% and 50:50 VG/PG mix, enjoying the vaping and trying different flavours.

I am sure you a familiar with the Arc 4 but it has a variable wattage setting, going up to 40w, a puff counter and variable air flow.

Few initial questions I have;

Are tanks generally transferable? This just screws onto the battery unit and I can for-see myself wanting a couple tanks with different flavours in.

I can also soon see myself wanting to produce some big clouds (the clouds from the current setup are good but fancy some bigger ones too!) and from what I can understand a higher VG ratio with the wattage cranked up a bit will help achieve this. I believe the atomiser that I have on it shouldn't go any higher than about 19W.

I am not sure how often I should be changing the atomiser (I understand there is no hard and fast rule) but I am on 1884 puffs and 3hours of use since fitting the first one, vaping between 6-10w.

Sub-ohm - wtf?

firstly congratz on kicking the cigs. your now over the first hurdle.

your kit is a glorified rebadged istick30 but with 40watts total which is what i gave up with almost 3 years ago. i had the nautilus tank with mine though.
i started on 18mg 100PG liquid which had a great throat hit but i then settled with 50/50 18mg for the first month and then cut down to 12mg.
ive not used that tank so have no idea how good the coils are but on average most mouth to lung coils last 2-3 weeks. you will know when its dying as you will either lose taste or get a really rough burnt hit which will soon stop you using it as its horrible.
6-10watts is about right and if they are anything like the nautilus coils then the 1.8ohm can go upto roughly 14watts but if your happy with what your using stick to it.

your kit has a 510 connection so will take almost all tanks but you are limited as the battery only goes upto 40watts so to blow much bigger clouds you will need a new mod and tank but worry about that later.
just ask here first before you buy.

Cheers for he tips mate. I am happy with it currently but i am a bit of a new toy nerd so can picture me wanting something bigger and better in the coming months.

I will keep an eye (or throat?) on the coil and when it burns i'll change it.

I tried the 18mg and struggled with it actually, i smoked about 15-20 rollups a today and could easily do 30+ on a night out so thought the stronger strength would be what I needed. i am on 10mg which seems OK.

I can get 0.15 atomisers for my arc4 so Maybe i will give these a go for the bigger clouds at some point in the future.
