Hi guys, new member here. I have been looking through the site recently enjoying the reviews and discussions i have seen!

Abit of my history - I have been a smoker since about 13 years of age but recently explored the world of Vaping and havent had a cigarrette since the last day of 2013. Currently using a cheapish EVOD device with a ebay special Protank thing. Cheap but cheerful and does the job.

Going to be upgrading my device in the next couple of weeks, looking to spend £30-60 quid on a new one with a decent tank. Any recommendations would be appreciated. I love the look of the Coolfire 1 but some reviews have turned me away from that.

Cheers for taking the time to read :)

Welcome to POTV. I have a lot of gear but my Coolfire 1 gets a lot of trips out. Three clicks on and off. Faff free. If you don't mind a fixed output a little above your ego type battery on most Mizers then it's a good bit of kit and if lost, stolen not too much of a loss. Works great with the iclear30S. Fixed at 8.5 Watts whatever you put on it. Takes an 18350 battery. You would need a couple plus a charger. Various vendors stock them.

Lots of other options out there though.

Cheers Mark.

The Coolfire does look the business to me, smart and stylish yet substantial. Just unsure about battery life etc? My local Vapour shop (Vapours 4 u) is doing the Coolfire with a battery and charger kit for £45 at the moment. Tempted by that

18350s are 700-800 Mah. Not unlike an average Ego. Life will depend on useage. Carry a spare. They're small enough ;)

Could be an option indeed. Im not allowed to Vape in the office i work in so it doesnt get over used Monday-Friday anyway so thinking about it, battery life probably wouldnt be that much of an issue.

In that case one battery would easily cope with a days sneaky/stealth Vaping ;)

Cheers Mark, great advice. :)

By the way most kits come with an iClear 30B which is ok but in my opinion not as good as the 30S. My B took to gurgling early on (though most of these types of tanks prefer to used at least a third full) and the flavour not as good as the S. Just my opinion though.
