Ok guys and gals, as some of you may have noticed, there some new panels on the forum. So I am going to tell you a little bit about them 
(let me know if you can't see them!)
At the top of the forum you have the Welcome Back Panel
This panel holds information about your posting statistics, how many posts have been made since your last visit, if you have any private messages, the date/time, easy access links to editing your profile, a new way to view posts (New and Todays) as well as handy little News Ticker, which is filled with the Latest important stuff happening on the forum at the moment.
Now if you scroll all the way to the bottom, just like before we had a Stats board, however this one is a little bit more customizable.
Above each column there is a little description with a drop down arrow. Click that and choose your poison. A quick and easy way to find the threads/stats/group posts that interest you. Choose which one you want in which panel and away you go!
The Chat box! The chat box is something that is always requested but is seldom used. POTV paid good money for that chatbox
so 
get on it! On the chat box you will see "Shoutbox" in the center with a drop down arrow, you can configure your settings here. Theres even a lovely little DING that will play when there is a message. Also some of your Notifications will show up here (unless you disable them) but fret not, ONLY YOU can see them! @Phantom Diablo is trying to sort out a "Chat Night" for the forum, so I hope we can have a couple good chat sessions here and there!

Yes we know about the button overlays on the top of the forum. @OccultScientist and @Wenebojo will get it fixed as soon as they can.
