New mixer looking for advice

Hi guys
I've been vaping just over 4 years now and am looking to get into mixing my own juice. What kind of recipes would you advise for someone starting out mixing? I usually use one of the following 4 profiles - dessert/custards, menthols, tobaccos or fruits. I'll probably try something simple to start with and then try more complex stuff later.

I would make a start with "one shot" concentrates, pre blended concoctions which you just add nic, vg and or pg depending on preference

Defo buy a ready mixed flavour you like and like said above just add PG VG and Nic, try www.flavours-r-us.co.uk for some super concentrate mixed in small batches of 15% flavour and 20% to see how strong you like then tweet to personal preference

@rob30, if you'll be mixing owt else than 0mg juice, get some 72mg nic while you still can - from 20th May you'll be limited to buying 10ml of 20mg which will work out ridiculously expensive compared to now - buy as much as you can reasonably store in a freezer (it'll keep for years that way)!

Yep, one shots are a great way to start mixing, and this thread https://www.planetofthevapes.co.uk/forums/index.php?threads/78708/ has all the info you could possibly need (except I'd suggest get a set of scales that can weigh up to 300g with a tare function and 0.01g accuracy from the start, saves lots of washing up [emoji6]).

One shots are definitely a great way to get started. They will get you nice juice right away. Their main drawback is that you won't learn anything about recipe creation - the how and why of what flavours work together, in what percentages and ratios. To make a start on that learning process, it's worth having a look through e-Liquid Recipes, choosing a highly rated recipe or two that appeal to you and mixing them from scratch. Best of luck, mixing is a lot of fun.

very simple recipe to get you started. Steep for 3/4 weeks or over night in a slow cooker.

Dont use one shots mixing is easy look at recipe try use ones with good comments or ask on here for some recipe ( i have a few) order concentrates and put % in e caculater and mix it up and steep if i have 100ml bottle i mix 90ml up so got room to shake i have mixed my ejuice for about 2-3 months it is not that hard to do

I only buy pre made jùice to compare to what ive made. Ive got a few recipes from scratch which i enjoy and a few of me mates and family like them n all. Love mixing.
Sometimes wake up with a recipe in me head.
So far so good. [emoji38]
