New to TC

Hi All,

I just want to check I have this right So I have some stealthvape nife30 (0.28mm) on the way and want to try TC out. I already have a iStick40w and will use my goblin mini or kayfun mini, plugged it in to steam engine and a 0.20 is 9wraps. I am a mouth to lung vaper so hoping the 0.20 is a good start?

So just want to double check, I make spaced coils? And do I prime the coil like kanthal?

Yes spaced coils. If you mean prime it with juice then yes. If you mean heat it and fuck with it then opinions vary but mine is that you definitely don't need to. Spaced coils work perfectly without dry burning them so I see no reason to.

Thanks Mr Numpty Will prime with juice but no fiddling and heating the coil Sounds like a plan, hopefully I won't blow myself up! Can't wait to try, just need my tank and wire to turn up

Just started TC too I usually use 1-1.2 ohm coils and have found that, personally, my sweet spot is around 0.3 ohms for TC. The main thing I have found is that the coils need to be spaced well (between 0.5 and 1mm gaps) otherwise you get hot spots which throws the TC out completely and leads to a whispy vape with no real body.

At the moment I have to make two or three coils before I have sucess. I reallty didn't get it at first because of the poor coils but once you gt it right its deff a really good vape. I can't see me going back now.

Good luck, I haven't made one for a couple of weeks as the flavour wasn't there (down to my build I would think) so am going to have another go one night this week when I have peace and quiet. I got it to work and to vape but muted flavour.
