Hello all. I am new to this vaping malarkey as of two days ago. I got myself an ego vision 1000 kit and it seems to work a treat. Plenty of vapour/throat hit and very easy for a newbie such as myself.

I was just wondering as I have seen a lot of talk about rebuild able atomisers and the such like on various forums, would a rebuild able atomiser like a cobra one a) fit on my vision ego-c upgrade battery and b) if it would wouldit provide a more satisfying vaping experience?! c) if it would be better to get sthg like a cobra atomiser, how do u learn how to do the wick and oxidise the stick thing, as it looks a bit tricky!

Any enlightenment would be much appreciated as I now haven't smoked a proper cigarette for two days and am feeling better for it already. Vaping is surely the way forward!

Also can anyone recommend a good supplier of liquids and what are the most popular flavours, although I guess it's down to personal taste.

Cheers

Very cheap and you take your chances with quality/delivery - Fasttech in China. If it comes and works, as it has for many, then great. If it doesn't arrive at all or is buggered (& low-value) then you're up Shit Creek.

I get my bits and bobs now from http://www.vapertrain.com/ because they are lovely people, I know when it's coming and if there's a problem they'll fix it.

I get my juices from Cher at http://www.juicy-licious.co.uk/ (but she's on hols till mid-July) and the Fairy Juicemother at http://www.wavesofvapour.co.uk/ (but she's in hospital till whenever).

I have had great service from http://www.ejuicebox.co.uk

I'm planning on trying out the juices from http://www.decadent-vapours.com , http://www.28vapeslater.com and http://www.leisureliquids.com soon but am aiming to starting mixing my own very soon.

Oh, and I'd add, the cheapest/quickest vaping improvement you can make is to get an Evod(s) to pop onto your battery.

I'll second that too for the Evods. A cobra will fit too and there are videos on youtube how to oxidise the stainless steel wick; there are cheaper and easier ones than a cobra though. The RSST is about 25 quid.

I am a newish vaper as well.
Started with an Ego and a CE5, then went and got a Protank and T3 clearomiser.
Personally i would try and recoil the clearomiser u have first or get something like an Evod, T3 or Protank and learn how to recoil those first before going down the rebuilable atomiser route, as u will already have a good understanding of recoiling to help u.
Then once u get mre expierenced, then go the next step ;-)

For an easy entry into rebuilding you can get a dripper like an octopus or igo. They will work fine on the ego battery. I will also go out on a limb and advise not to get something like to cobra to sit atop your ego battery. Yes it will fit on there, but if your new to coiling and oxidising mesh you could have a major short o the coil and wick and totally ruin your battery. Mesh atomisers are generally better on a battery mod, like a vamo/zmax/lavatube. These kind of mods have short circuit protection and an ohms reader (which is invaluable in rebuilding).

I second, or is it third by now, the suggestion of either rebuilding your current clearo's or getting something like an evod/protank/nova. All work great on your current battery. Easy to rewick, and work great too. There are plenty of videos on that there YouTube for recoiling said clearo's and plenty of helpful members on here too.

With all that said, there is nothing stopping you getting a mesh (genisis) atomiser and a decent battery mod. It's what I ended up doing with and aga-t2 and a vamo.

Sorry for the long reply.

Thanks for your advises. Sounds like im going to try an evod thing next and see how that goes! Happy vaping to all. I'm four days without a cigarette and feeling most pleased about it. Cheerio.
