Newbie to TC vaping

Hi all, apologies in advance as this may be a stupid question. So just got myself one of the kangertech topbox minis & am really enjoying it, ive had it for 2 days now and used it a fair bit, i have noticed in the last few hours or so though it seems to be really dry on my mouth & the flavour of the vap doersnt seem to be as intense as it first was, i reprimed the coil as i thought this may help & it kind of did slightly, does this sound like the coil maybe needs changed?? if so how often do these coils last? i thought they would last longer than a couple of days, though i am probably doing something wrong somewhere. I am vaping at 240.c & using the Ti coil (at least i think thats what it is) the guy in the store fitted it for me and said it was the one to use for Temp Control. Any help would be massivley appreciated.

i hope he knew what he was doing as we are seeing more and more cock ups where people are using the wrong coils for TC mode
it can be bad for your health if your using the wattage coils in TC mode and vice versa.

ive only tried TC for a week ages ago using ni200 so have no idea how long ti coils should last but i would have thought that it should be longer than wattage coils as your not meant to get dry hits.

hopefully one of the TC experts can advise better than me.

No idea how long the coils last, I gave up on stock coils long ago, but try putting a new one in and see if it improves the vape. If it does, then that is probably the problem. Are you using a sweet dessert liquid? These will gunk up a coil pretty quickly. Can you see the coil to check if it's full of crap?

The other thing you can do is prick the wick with a pin to open up the cotton a bit. This can improve wicking and give you a better TC vape. The symptoms you describe sound like they could be a result of inadequate wicking, but the fact that you see no improvement when priming again suggests not.
