Hi guys,

I have been vaping for a few months now and so far so good :)

I do however have a couple of questions, I started with the Kanger Evod starter kit and have now moved up to the Kanger Protank 2. The main juices i use are from Krakken, these being Red lady and Squid Ink. Both of which I really like. But I am experiencing some problems with both the Evod and Protank and not sure what is causing it.

I tend to vape quite hard, drawing for a long time, and I have noticed that after a few days I get a chemically/smoky (not cigarette smokey!) flavour coming through. I have changed the wicks, changed the fluids etc but once it arrives I just cant seem to get rid of it. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Any hints as to how to get rid of it?

Thanks in advance

i'd hazard a guess that it's yer tastebuds..not the equipment..

not sure exactly how to explain it..but when you continually hit your tastebuds with the same flavour repeatedly they stop registering it..leaving you with the other flavours..

if i vape grants for any length of time it tastes really weird and unpleasant..
so i take a break, have a drink, brush my teeth and change to an unrelated juice for a while..usually works

Or it could just be your coil getting gunked up and needs a clean and dry burn

OK how do i clean the coil and dry burn it?? Pretty convinced it is not my taste buds, as it seems to be worse the harder I draw. I though it might be contamination on top of the battery where it reaches the coil, have cleaned this area and ithelps but it comes back quickly. Its very odd, once it arrives it is there and hard to get rid of, am changing coils quite regularly.

It's easier to watch a youtube video about it rather than explained in text, it's not complicated but comes across much better in the vids.
