I registered on here ages, to ask a question about Hellbeast Hybrid tank, which I could not get to stop leaking.. That was probably 2019, when I started vaping. Never bought anything from Hellvape again, those tanks leaked so badly, until their Dead Rabbit R, with the rebuildable stock-mesh-coil like set-up.. Hope I won't regret it..
Anyway, I look on forums mainly for product reviews or to find info, but rarely bother posting.
Now, although I've only been vaping a few years, I have too much gear, and want to sell some bits.
Any ideas about where to sell used (and some new) vape gear, apart from Gumtree, please? Tried Shpock, but the mobile number verification wouldn't work, no texts arrived.
And yes, I know I need 100 posts to be able to post ads on here - anyone who can explain the rationale behind that one, am curious??
So thought I better get started.. No idea what I can post about to get to 100 posts. Any ideas on that, please? Don't really have any questions to post.. Suppose I can lurk and start replying randomly to every new post that appears... And think I saw somewhere that putting new gear into classifieds would raise questions on here?

The 100 post was set up to protect both parties as you would not believe some of the dirty tricks theve tried in the past. and to get people to stick around and join in instead of bargain hunters joining to get great deals and then buggering of.

Hi @Sarah Clark , welcome to the forum. There's plenty of threads to join in on. I'm sure if you ask about tips for some of the gear that isn't working for you then you might get a bit more joy out it. Just try not to resurrect threads that haven't been posted on in a long time, it's generally frowned upon.

Welcome. As John said there are plenty of threads on here you can read and comment on we talk about all things really not just vapes.

The 100 post rule is very much needed as Mr DJ said it protects us the people that contribute to these forum regularly and that help others with issues on products or newbies wanting to quit cigarettes. Much of what is sold should be a steal really so of course we get lurkers just waiting to buy something wither for themselves or to sell on.

If you had a good look round you may understand why POTV have these rules

Thank you all for your replies and advice, much appreciated. Yes, I suppose it does make sense then. I never considered.. Although I suppose it's sorta the opposite from what I was wanting to do, so fair enough! It also makes sense for potential buyers get to know who they're buiying from, if scamming is an issue.
Reason for wanting to sell vape gear is because my vaping style has changed. It's not so much about money - more not wasting the stuff. I bought double of some older style stuff, if I really liked it, and it suited my previous vaping style (very open draw MTL). So also have new or nearly new stuff that needs new homes.
Also, have some genesis style (mostly quite good, I think) clones that I've never come to grips with, but they tend to be MTL, so not sure it's worth the efffort for me. Are there still people on here that use those? I actually used the excellent build instructions on here, with middling success.
Tbh it's nothing to do with this forum that I never bothered posting. Still struggle even with basics on FB, or Twitter.. not good with social media in general. But I have already thought of a subject or 2 to post about, so suppose the 100 post rule works in that sense, too!

Yes, thank you, you are totally right. Although the stuff I want to re-home is about vaping style, I do have some gear I could defo get better use from, like Drop and Drop Solo V1: never managed to get much flavour, and am sure it's something I am doing wrong. Will have a look for best place to ask..
