Travelling 90 miles in a mates car to a disciplinary meeting i cant talk about, driveshaft snapped in middle of a busy roundabout, police attendance, friend has no money, phone drained via sat nav, 6 hour nightmare, £ 650 lighter into overdraft, £150 + VAT recovery, £30 taxi to meeting, £72 train ride home...we walked to the Plasterers and downed 5 pints..feeling a little more mellow now as i cook some tea..but fuck what a day.

Oof, that is the day from hell

Mine are mostly OH's family woes: trouble is, that part of the family is in Germany, involves court and hospital documents ... I've been doing the translation and dealing with the blood sweat and tears, OH has spent £hatetothinkhowmuch on flights, hotels, got a speeding ticket & 3 points (twit!) and then when he got back to work last Friday, was made redundant ... mine is simply a leg that has stopped working so I can't walk properly anymore ... finally getting to see the neurologist after 2 years of asking ...

I'm sure there's a bright side somewhere, but you get to a point in your life and wonder if any more shit can possibly come your way
