Nic Salts To Freebase Advice Please

Hi Guys,

Still a total novice but need some advice on this.

I've been using 20mg nic salts for a while which I need due to heavy rollie intake.

The problem is they can quite irritate my lungs at times which I understand nic salts can do, or at least in some individuals, and so want to try some freebase.

Many years ago I tried vaping with something like 22-24mg juice which ripped my throat out and so I left it at that and gave up. I'm not too willing to try 18mg for this reason so I'm looking at 12mg but I want to know if anyone has an opinion or idea on how this would work with my kit.

I'm using an Aspire Flexus Q pod with the 1.0 ohm coils (they also take 0.6 ohm as well), and this works great for lack of harshness with the salts apart from the lung irritation. Any thoughts if this would work with 12mg base and not be too harsh?

I know you'll probably say "just try it" but I am really quite poor at the minute and would just like an opinion. And I am not going down the rabbit hole of buying new kit with mods etc as that really isn't my thing, otherwise I'll just stick with the salts.

it will work, but nobody will know whether it’s too harsh for you apart from you after you have tried it, i’m afraid.

I'm a newb too, so this is just a thought, but what flavour e-liquid are you vaping at the moment? It might be worth having a look and seeing if the same brand makes the same flavour with freebase nicotine and buying 10ml in 12mg to try it out.

Ultimately though, as @zouzounaki says, it will come down to personal choice.
