Nicotine level vs. coil

Hi all,

In the past I've used an Innokin Zenith, and have typically used 18mg premixed e-liquids. I am now changing to a Smok Fetch, which I know has in the blastier 0.4 coils.

I was wondering whether I'm still good to use those old premixed liquids, or do most people find they need to go down in level if the coil is going down in ohms too?

Any feedback is welcome :)

not necessarily... I wouldn't for example change when going from a 1.2ohm zenith coil to a 0.5ohm zenith coil.

The resistance alone doesn't mean much by itself, if it's still MTL and still low power and still producing a similar amount of vapour then there's no reason to lower the nicotine.

ive not heard of this pod kit. looking at the coils near the bottom of page here https://www.smoktech.com/kit/fetch-mini
the 1.4ohm coil should be your best bet if you want to use 18mg but i think the others are more for direct to lung at higher wattage and you may get a head rush of nic od. most use dtl with 3-6mg max nic.
headache, nausea stop vaping for an hour as the nic is too strong.

edit
i could be wrong then by what Simon says. try and find out. if you get the head rush then yes 18mg is too strong.

No you could be right, I'm not familiar with the kit either... if they are higher wattage DTL coils then I'll go with what you are saying...

That's kind of what I meant really, don't go on the resistance alone, it depends more on the power level and vapour production.

Cracking choice the Fetch, I have one in order myself just a little worried about the fill hole on it (well the bung for it). I think 18mg may well be a bit too strong since the kit seems more aimed at a restricted dtl and Smok coils usually produce a relatively high amount of vapor. Try the 18, but I would guess nearer 12 might be better for you on this kit.

Mmm, all I can say is that different tanks/coils that I have do, because of having to use various wattage levels, seem to hit harder or less, with the exact same vape liquids. And by that I mean both throat hit and nic hit.

i chug away on my sub around 40w with 20mg nic salt.seems ok ,still only get a mild nic hit, certainly no headache, nausea etc
