Hello,

First post here, apart from saying hello!

Over the past few weeks I just became so fed up with cigarettes and bought a Vapour Lite e-cig on a whim. I like it,but my complaint is that I have to constantly charge the thing up from a USB port no less!
It strikes me that the battery is a bit inferior and my main concern is for the thing to run out on me all the time. I see little point in investing in more Vapour Lite products, but it's been a good introduction.

I realise the cartomizers are simple to refill,so I've ordered 20ml or some pre-mixed liquid to try out. I also realise that the integrity of a cartomizer can't be maintained forever.

So,my question to you knowledgeable vapers is (and please tell me if I'm posting this in the wrong place!):

Please could anybody recommend a better alternative to the Vapour Lite in terms of battery life and ease of liquid refill without breaking the bank? There are so many options out there and it's confusing. If I have a good starting point,I can figure it out from there. Obviously I want to avoid paying too much and accidentally purchasing incompatible components. Really want to get it right then forget about it,except for choosing my vaping flavours :-)

Thanks people!

Looky like e cigarettes are a great "Gateway" product as an introduction to the World of e-cigs, but with the vast majority of cases soon give way to needing something longer lasting, battery wise, an eGo kit is arguably the next logical step up, and you can get excellent eGo starter kits for under £20 that include batteries up to 900mAh (strong enough to last a full day in most cases)as well as a Vision type clearomiser and USB charger, You can also find a range of discount codes here >> Click Me<< for added value :) .

Thanks for your suggestions people.

It's looking like the ego route,as this was the common factor in your replies. In fact,I've just checked the packaging of the Vapour Lite and the battery is a pathetic 180mAh!!! You could argue that it's hardly worth bothering with, but a great budget introduction nonetheless. NO wonder I'm being driven to regular nicotine starvation periods! That tip starts flashing far too soon after charging. USB is a painful charging method indeed. Obviously more battery amp hours = less chance of being inclined to jump in the car and drive to the petrol station for ten fags while I'm waiting! I just don't want tobacco anymore. Three days tobacco-less and I'm feeling more alert already but, thanks to vaping, without the insane cravings so often experienced with cessation products :-) For years I've always said to people "I wish somebody would invent a method of getting the nicotine hit safely, with the satisfying feel on your throat, without the plethora of poisons present in burning tobacco!". Damn...they did it. This is GOOD! This is revolutionary...regardless of brand. :yahoo:

:welcome2:Some good advice there, so that just leaves me to say welcome and enjoy yourself here on the planet........no questions to daft or small.

Hiya again. I'd highly recommend picking up a second battery if you can stretch to it. That way you have something to use whilst the other is charging and as much as we all hope it doesn't happen sometimes things do go wrong and believe me it ain't fun to find out you're vape less. I've made that mistake and I know I'm not the only one. I know you can pick up disposables from supermarkets but it's better just to be prepared :)

Welcome! It's a pass through so great if it does run out. Battery should last at least a day with decent amount of vaping anyway. Like others have said get a spare when funds allow.
I only have 2 x 650mah batts and one will go most of the day until about 9pm at my vaping amount. Just bought myself a passthrough iTaste vv as my main one and will keep the others as spares.

You can get a kit with 2 ego t 900ah batteries and a charger and 2 ce5 cleros and a case for 25 quid
