When I wash my bottles out, "sometimes" I can still get a hint of the liquid that was in it previously (I mean smell not taste)

Does anyone know a way to get rid of the smell from the previous juice?

Thank you.

Either dissolve a little bicarbonate of soda into water and leave in bottle for a while, overnight, before washing or if really persistent then try Milton sterilising tablets.

I steep mine in hot water and fairy liquid for a couple of hours before rinsing well and don't get a smell. If I do ever get it I'd probably do as Kermit says and use a sterilising tablet.

I used hot water, maybe too hot because my bottle shrunk lol

I use an ultrasonic cleaner for mine, Milton's and a drop of fairy, many threads on here for the magic that ultrasonics do for many vape related uses, well worth the 20 odd quid they cost

Yeah, that's a bum in DIY. I just don't care and mix. I can barely get a hint of flavours that were in a bottle. Also, as a slugster say, i try to mix similar recipes. Fruits to fruits, mint to mint or similar

Some good advice given above. I gave up and keep the few which are for flavours i remake. But others that i mix and dont like i turf them in the bin and don't waste my time. Iv almost completely switched to glass these days because of the linger. I imagine within another month or so mine will all be glass.
