OBS cube x help

Hi all. I recently bought a obs cube x from a vape shop. The guy sold me two batteries and altho there was a charging cable in box told me not to use that and sold me a battery charger on top. Can anyone tell me if that is right or does others charge their batteries using the cable and charging port on device.

he was right, the best is to charge the batteries in a dedicated quality charger. even if the mod has usb charging it is more for "emergency" situations

You can charge through the device, but it's not recommended.

If you can, always use a proper charger...

If you have a device with a non removable battery, or you're out and running low on power, then it won't hurt to plug the device in.

I agree with the guy in the shop.

Always safer to remove batteries and use an external charger.
Usb charging is fine for mods with a fixed internal lipo battery.
Of course never leave a battery charging overnight or when out of the house.
