High there after problems with my aerotank v2 running on a itaste clk1280
I was using a 1.8ohm dual kangertech coil
At 3.8 volt it wasnt popping or crackling the coil and basically very much doubt it was firing the coil right up if that makes sense. Inconsistent vapour from one hit to the next. Flavour of vape diminishing after a few vapes may as well be flavourless
At 4.5 volt it sounded like the coil was firing up right. But the liquid taste a fraction burnt
So was in a no win situation. And yes i changed coils 5 times from different batches.
I am now running a 1ohm dual kangertech coil on 3.8 volts.. the coil is firing up lovely creating good vapour and good flavour no matter how long i vape for and how many times i lug.
It works fine even at 4.5 volts no slightly burnt liquid consistent vapour
I guess what im trying to say is what is the problem with 1.8 coil
And is it safe to low ohm high voltage vape?
Battery spec are as follows
Max out current 3.5a
Max out wattage 15w
Clearomizer resistance 1.2 ohm min 2.50 ohm reccomended
Short circuit protection 0.6+/-0.2 ohm
I just bought the nautilius mini tank as well today and that has the same at 3.8 volt its like sucking a golfball through a house pipe till i turn the voltage up to 4.5 but then it is slighly burning the liquid not to much just destroys flavour slightly it is running on the stock 1.8ohm bvc coil
So in essence my battery fully charged will not fire 1.8 ohms at 3.8 volts to a nice satisfactory vape. When i increase voltage it midly burns the liquid
Is low ohm high voltage ok what is the worst that can happen or do my needs require better performance equipment? Saying that i have had better vapes off 15 pound starter kits until i put i a lower ratio coil
