hello again , im using a vip photon tank with a 1.6ml clearomizer . can any one tell me what the resistance ohm means on the clearomizer before i buy more and does any one know the type i am using from the vip website as these are expensive and there seems too be a million websites out there much cheaper , same product but different name . cheers . p.s getting a good vape from this kit so nnot bothered about vvv yet but i might but a bigger tank to fit it. p.s how long do these ce4 clearos last for .

I've not used the kit you referred to so had a quick look at the VIP site. I believe the company's main business began selling lookalikeys ie small battery ecigs that look like a cigarette.
They now sell their Photon batteries which appear to be modelled on the Ego style batteries, just renamed. The tank refers to the clearomiser used on it. These are not new and have been around for a while now.
The ohm rating refers to the resistance of the clearomiser. The lower the resistance the more heat is generated. Resistance is commonly between 1.5 and 3.0. The more heat generated the stronger the throat hit and warmer the vapour. Low resistance is normally under 2.0 ohms.

Those are called Vision/Startdusts, you can get http://www.safercigs.co.uk/Vision_eGo/cat705284_1372126.aspx (check out the discount code page to save a few bob) these which are rebuildable (means you can take the entire thing apart to clean it better and replace bits inside). I get about 2 weeks use out of them which is pretty good, if you rinse them out you can probably use them for even longer!

the 1.8ohm means that it is a lower resistance, for lower voltages. You will want to get higher ohm/resistance if you decide to us variable voltage.

Looking at those photon batteries I said they look like ego style batteries but the site does not state the connector type. I would imagine it is. 510 fitting and if so will be compatible with cartomisers, atomisers and indeed clearomisers as sold by other vendors. 510 is pretty much an industry standard and so their claim that the photon only works with VIP stuff is a mystery. As is their claim that their ejuice is only compatible with their stuff. These are likely to be attempts to keep you buying from VIP. I couldn't be 100% sure without seeing and trying but ejuice is ejuice and I can't think of a single reason why it couldn't be used in any other device.

I would recommend you try some of the better more acclaimed juices first, because there is a plethora of absolute bilge out there and its possible to waste a small fortune on junk that makes you want to heave. What sort of flavours do you like?
