Ohms and Voltage

I don't know if these have anything to do with each other but they both interested me so I want to know they are

So I know Ohms are something to do with resistance but can someone explain what it is, what the effect of a higher ohm and lower ohm. And anything else I might need to know.

As for voltage I know the higher the voltage the quicker you burn out your coil and the hotter the vape. What is the effect of higher and lower voltages? Again please tell me other things I should know.

Voltage is the electrical potential between two points and is measured in volts (joules per coulomb) - probably best to read the wikipedia entry for more details, the maths is quite complex...

Resistance is exactly what it sounds like, it is the opposition to the passage of an electrical current through a conductor. Only superconductors have zero resistance...

BTW - the guy in the video has it wrong, its not how long a coil is, its the resistance of the wire used to make it + the length of the wire in that coil (6 wraps of .30 copper wire would give you an almost dead short about 0.001 ohms 6 wraps of kanthal is about 1.2 ohms)...
