My VLS arrived a few days ago from Heavens Gifts (just under £20) and though it about time I put some coils in it. I decided on a horizontal dual set up using the Tiger wire I got from Dynas. Made the first coil the wrong way round so it would have sat high between the posts so made two the other way round with a 2.5mm ID and 4.5 slightly spaced wraps. Building was a breeze, it was only my 5th build, cotton install was easy too, Ohms came out at 0.12 I think, I'll check that and finish this after breakfast.

My Tiger wire build did come out at 0.12Ω - thought I was aiming for nearer 0.9 using Steam Engine wirewiz (see image below), it didn't get close! Perhaps someone will see errors in my inputs, I've tried various combinations but nothing changed the expected ohmage by much.

After giving it a good wicking with City Vape's Baked Well Cherry and leaving it for a while to ensure the juice soaked the bottom coil - perhaps should have wicked it before putting the top cotton in? - on my new VooPoo Drag at 60w I get good flavour and a load of cloud so am very happy with my first build using fancy wire. I'll have to learn the menu on the Drag and try using the TC mode.

Slightly raggedy build but it works, hopefully my coils will get tidier with practice.

Even halving the projected .846Ω (that's right isn't it?) for a dual coil set up would make it around .4 which was really what I was aiming for.
