So... It's payday... I went on some recommendations from here and various YouTube videos and purchased the following.


A DOVPO TOPSIDE Dual Carbon (red n black)

A VooPoo Drag X plus (Marsala)

Wotofo Recurve Dual (Black and Red)

(Yes there's a black and red theme going here

And some 0.8 funky monkey coils (set of 10 pre made hobbies) . (no way am I going to try and build my own yet)

And a great Chuffed Dessert Apple Crumble n custard juice with mic salts.

Some extra 18650 batteries

Hey a bit of a splurge but can see how buying mods is addictive!!!

Somehow managed to get all of this for about 200 quid!!

A+++ on the drag x plus. Its smaller than the armour pro and way better built. Its extremely basic, i havent been able to figure out how do anything but vw mode, but the thing has amazing build quality, and is literally the size of a 21700 battery with a chip attached to the side.

I have found it likes to be set at 5 watts higher compared to my 18650 mods when it is running a 21700, but i have been noticing this across all my 21700 mods regardless of battery.

Also, when its been in sleep mode for a while, it seems like u have to hit the fire button to wake it up, and then hit it a second time to fire. Great safety feature if my observation is correct.

I got the black one and it looks super classy. The leather is black, the metal is more shiny gunmetal color than black.

Im hoping a mod that has so few features, including no passthru charging, should hopefully be all that more reliable as well.

The only con i have with it is the volts on the display go back to zero when the fire button is released. I like how the aegis line leaves the final value on the screen so u can reference it after takin a drag.

Its as close to perfect single battery mod so far. If they made it semi rugged (waterproof the chip, add a screw on battery cap, and a small thin rubber layer at the top and bottom so the corners will be protected) i would call it perfect, minus the missing tc and vv.

Oh yeah, almost forgot, of course it was the wrong thing to do, u just spent £200 of your hard earned money on your drug addiction, lol

Yeah that was a spur of the moment choice tbh.. I was looking for another juice and that was on the same site... So thought... Sod it!!
