Morning everyone. . So I've just entered the world of mixing.. bought a diy mixing kit from the AC and have been happy so far.. but the VG is running low and wanted to restock..

So I was wondering if there was anything to i should particulary look for or check when buying supplies, if there is a difference in quality between suppliers or as the title suggests, it's all pretty much the same?

Any recommendations would also be greatly appreciated

I get my VG from Classikool on EBay. I think the last lot cost about £5 odd including P&P for a litre.

Cherrs @south coast vapour, will have a look, must admit I'm not a fan of getting things off ebay though. . Any thoughts on quality or differences between suppliers?

As long as you get 'pharmaceutical grade', you shouldn't go too far wrong. Some base pg/vg do taste a bit different afaik (only just started myself, but have read as much.

So shop around for a good deal, bearing everything in mind, and you shouldn't buy much duff gear.

Boots do 200ml of VG for around £1.50, it is very thick so you may want to water it down with some distilled water therefore making it last longer.

I use it straight out the bottle at a 60/40 vg/pg mix without issue and it's handy as there is no delivery time

Cheers Abervaper .. any links to the stuff you've been reading? Will have to add it to the long list of other vaping related stuff! Also where do you get yours from, if you don't mind me asking? ..

1000ml / 1 Litre Clear Food Cosmetic Grade USP Kosher Vegetable Glycerine Glycerol [FREE UK Post*]: Amazon.co.uk: Grocery

Same vendor.

Also, nicotine can differ greatly in quality. I had some from a vendor on here and it was atrocious, I've had good luck with a company called Vapers Emporium though. PG and VG tends to be the same in my experience.

It's worth recognising that PG and VG aren't going anywhere, so no need to "stock up" other than more is sometimes cheaper, but fresher is better.

+1 for Classikool.....Cheap as chips and delivered in no time at all....

Thanks RagingMammoth and Blackhack.. Will check out both sites. . Got my firdt batch of nicotine from alc cupboard and seemed ok, but I guess it will until I have something to compare it too.. Man, nothing is to straight forward in this vaping world.. still trying to find good concentrates and making the mysterious vimto/ribena concoction! ☺
