I was sent 6 x 30ml juices by a brand new company which has a big social media presence on instagram.
The Project Pure product line was developed over many months. They worked directly with skilled experts from within and out of the e-Liquid industry. The focus for the range was to build a portfolio of the best classic flavours, both tested and manufactured to the highest standard.
Style and substance was key in terms of the packaging. Their in house design team approach each area of the brand with a contemporary and style-conscious vision. Their ISO9001 high tech Pharma grade UK lab enables us to keep up with the high demand and keep an overall high quality standard within their product ranges.

All flavours are currently available in 30ml unicorn bottles, 70/30 VG/PG mix and either 1.5 or 3mg nicotine. I'm sure this will change once the TPD comes into full effect.

I love their labelling and the general simplistic approach to their branding. Simple, bold and straight to the point.
Strawberry
We've all had a strawberry juice at some point, some are really nice, others not so much. The smell from the bottle is just pure sweet strawberry. Project Pure are describing this as:
Deliciously fruity smell with slight marshmallow after taste… This flavour packs a punch and offers all elements for an all day vape.
Upon the inhale there is a nice burst of the sweet strawberry. Not so much a fresh strawberry which I was hoping to find, more of an artificial flavouring but don't get me wrong, it's certainly really nice. It kind of puts me in mind of the haribo strawberry sweets. Upon the exhale, I'm not getting that slight marshmallow flavouring but I am getting a nice smooth sweet taste. The aftertaste is a nice strawberry sweetness with a hint of marshmallow. Personally, I couldn't have this as an all day vape as it's really sweet, but most definitely a really nice juice that I would vape often.
Tobacco
Ever since quitting smoking and getting into vaping, I've never really gone for tobacco flavoured juices as I personally think it defeats the object of quitting. Plus, they never actually really taste of tobacco. The smell of this juice is a sweet smoky smell, not really anything like tobacco. This juice has been described as:
A realistic smoky flavour with a distinct after taste of tobacco….our Tobacco flavour really is the closest thing to cigarettes you’ll get. This flavour is smooth and subtle.
The inhale on this is actually fairy nice, kind of resembles chocolate in a way and is quite sweet. Not much in the way of actual tobacco but that's probably impossible to replicate really. The exhale is a nice smoky smooth flavour again with a slight hint of what I can only describe as chocolate. A really pleasant all round vape - a lot nicer than any tobacco flavoured juices I've tried in the past. Again, not an all day vape as it's not my choice of flavour but I would certainly vape it for a bit of a change now and again.
Heisenberry
I'm unsure about this juice as I've had the massively famous Heisenberg juices and there are thousands of clones out there of this. The original Heisenberg flavour is definitely nice but an acquired taste. This smells like a nice fruity menthol. Described as:
Fruity and minty undertones, with a cool and soothing sensation
On the inhale you get a massive burst of mixed fruit with a huge hit of menthol. A little overpowering on the menthol side to begin with but after two or three vapes it begins to settle down. The exhale tastes kinda smoky and smooth with a fruity undertone. I can't put my finger on what type of fruits are used in the juice. This juice really isn't something I could vape all that often. The overall taste of the juice is a little strange, nice, but strange. If you're a fan of the original Heisenberg, this is worth giving a go.
Blue Slush
Straight away you can smell the fresh sweetness of the raspberry, but not really picking up any blueberry in there. Described as:
Combination of raspberry and blueberry – it’s the blue slush drink, in a vape!
Straight from the off, the inhale packs a punch with the smooth but tart flavoursome raspberry. Nice and sweet but also a little sour. The exhale again is raspberry with a mix of the blueberry coming through ever so slightly. The sourness of the raspberry gives it a feel as if it’s almost fizzy in your mouth, just as a slush would be. The aftertaste of sweet raspberry with a hint of blueberry is pleasant, not too sickly, Usually, raspberry liquids are a little too tart for my liking, but this is a great juice.
Iced Menthol
This smells like a nice spearmint menthol, not an overpowering smell from the bottle. I’ve recently started appreciating menthol vapes a lot more, as I didn’t particularly like them for a while. The description of this is:
Our tasty Iced Menthol E Liquid has a wintry deliciousness, that will leave your mouth and throat feeling delightfully refreshed. Wake up your senses in the morning with this delicious explosion on your tastebuds.
A huge punch of menthol straight on the inhale, that doesn’t take your breath away but it’s certainly a nice strong cooling menthol. Not so much a spearmint juice, but a nice palate cleanser that’s sure to clear your sinuses and shift a cold. The exhale is a little strange, to me it tastes kinda musty but still minty. Not a bad juice, the musty-ness settles after a few vapes and transforms into a decent, pleasant juice. I couldn’t vape this all day but certainly a nice juice for in the morning to wake you up.
Rhubarb & Custard
I’ve never had a rhubarb & custard flavoured e-liquid before so I’m definitely excited for this one, hence why I’ve saved it ’til last.
The juice itself smells exactly like those sweets I used to buy as a kid, takes me back. Project Pure describe the juice as:
Classically British, deliciously creamy, slightly tangy e-liquid with a punchy after taste. Our Rhubarb & Custard flavour ticks all the boxes for the perfect all day vape.
Straight away from the first inhale, this is an amazing juice. I’ve never been so impressed with a juice straight from the initial inhale. It literally tastes exactly like the rhubarb & custard sweets, I’m sure you know exactly what I’m talking about. A lovely rich,tangy rhubarb on the inhale and a smooth custard on the exhale. The balance of the rhubarb and the custard is perfect, the rhubarb is not overpowering in the slightest. I don’t have much to say about this, it’s simply just brilliant. A game changer in terms of e-liquid flavours. Definitely within the top 5 juice I’ve ever tasted. I wouldn’t vape this all day, as I’d simply want to save the juice for the end of a long day at work and just sit back, relax and vape this wonderful juice.
